Are you launching or exhibiting a NEW product or service at Oceanology International 2022? Tell us More!

Designed for automated and intuitive operations, RUBHY buoy can record, send and display real time underwater noise such as SEL – Sound Exposure Level and SPL – Sound Pressure Level over a 10 km distance. In combination, multi parameter sensors like CTD, O², turbidity, pH and any other oceanographic data can also be simultaneously recorded and sent.
Specially adapted to offshore conditions, RUBHY is the optimal solution for pile driving and drilling operations, autonomous real- time noise surveying of port construction, and long term observation of marine life and human activity.
RUBHY is robust and can sustain up to Sea State 5 conditions. The buoy can be easily deployed and recovered from supply vessels and offshore platforms. The recorder device is placed into the dry section of the buoy assembly and is easily removable, interchangeable and rechargeable.
The intuitive user interface is easy to use and provides thorough data for rapid understanding.

Why is this exhibit so special? What makes it newsworthy?

One of the strong skill of RUBHY buoy, aside its real time data transmission of course, is its ability to transmit pre-processed data to a web server (through Irridium and 4G) named RESONANCE and displaying real- time chemicophysical and acoustics data.
Alerts can be set when defined thresholds are exceeded. The remote control of RESONANCE application allows to set parameters from the user interface. Charts and reports also help to analyze assessments and monitor as many places around the world as needed (unlimited quantity of buoys simultaneously).

Who is this featured exhibit of use to?

RUBHY buoy is used by Offshore Energy Leaders such as IBERDOLA, DONG Energy (now ORSTED), offshore contractors like BOSKALIS, JAN DE NUL, DEME, Hydrographic and Scientific centers like SHOM, KIOST, or Water Quality Contractors like SUEZ Environment.
Main scope of works : Underwater Noise Monitoring during pile driving operations, dredging operations, drilling operations, protected areas surveillance, mammals monitoring and tracking, port construction or extension works...

What else will you particularly be featuring on your stand at the show?

We will be very glad to feature NemoSens : compact autonomous underwater vehicle (µAUV) designed for scientific, industrial and defense applications. Lightweight and modular, its open LINUX architecture allows users to develop their own navigation algorithm for greater flexibility and maximal use. Mission coverage can be extended thanks to swarm technology and possibility to deploy multiples AUVs.. NemoSens integrates the latest upgrades of both hardware and software developments from RTsys range of products, it is therefore the most valuable and most performing micro AUV of its generation. NemoSens can be tracked in real time during its mission thanks to its embedded acoustic communication. NemoSens can integrate a wide range of sensors depending on requested scope of work: side scan sonar, video camera, various environmental sensors (CTD, O², Chl...). All sensors’ data are registered on a single storage location, easy to retrieve at the end of the mission.

What else newsworthy can you tell us about your exhibits and your company?

Founded in 2010, RTsys is a French company specializing in underwater acoustics (passive and active) and autonomous underwater vehicles. The company is part of the SEA VORIAN group, which has more than 15 years of experience in supplying equipment for the maritime and naval industry.
A decade of research and development combined with a close cooperation with the French Navy have enabled RTsys to develop innovative solutions for anti-submarine warfare (ASW), Mines Counter Measures (MCM), passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV). Focused on technology, the company employs forty people, including more than twenty qualified engineers and PhD.
With its network of distributors and a permanent office based in Singapore, RTsys’ international presence represents currently more than 80% of its turnover.
