Autonomous vehicles, in the air, on the surface and underneath the water offer a transformation in the quantity and quality of environmental and security data and situational awareness that is becoming available to commanders and managers of marine space. In this session delegates will learn about multi-vehicle operations in the maritime security context, including simultaneous operation of dissimilar systems, using surface systems to relay sub-surface intelligence, integration of systems into the wider mission and solutions to technical challenges such as recharging of batteries and secure data upload when systems are remote from the home base.
