Oi Connect is the leading networking and education platform for the ocean tech community. The second edition of Oi Connect will run from 11 to 14 May, 2021 and we want to share your content.
This is your chance to engage with an active and eager community who are keen to learn and develop their ocean tech knowledge. Be a leader and share your insights, new developments, the challenges you faced, recent successes, and your ideas for the future.
Content submission is easy; you can use our online form for as many submissions as you want to make (one form for each topic).
Here are some of the topics we’re looking for:
This topic focusses on new developments in all types of sensors and instruments intended for ocean applications. It encompasses sensors and instruments used for observation and measurement of ocean physical, chemical and biological characteristics; subsea imaging and remote sensing, ocean hydrographic geophysical and geotechnical survey; surface and subsurface navigation and positioning, the monitoring of surface and subsurface infrastructure and in support of subsea intervention and repair.
This topic will consider the latest developments in the application of AI, machine leaning and data analytics on platforms and in data repositories, as well as advances in modeling and data visualisation techniques.
This topic is focused on case studies of the application of ocean science and technology across all end-uses including support of scientific research; conventional and renewable ocean energy, fisheries and aquaculture, marine mining, coastal management and resilience, defense and security, ships and shipping, survey, site investigation, site characterization, structural monitoring, environmental monitoring and regulatory compliance.
Our latest visitor surveys show that aside from the latest technical content, our visitors join our virtual platform to find out about the latest product launches and see video demos. If you have recently launched a product or have performed any demos lately that you are able to present in the form of a pre-recorded or live-streamed video as part of this year’s conference, then we want to hear from you. We can schedule these daily, so your video is always prominent.
