UK, Nova Scotia fund tidal contest, 20 Aug 2014 15:29

The UK Technology Strategy Board is to jointly invest around £755,000 with Nova Scotia’s Offshore Energy Research Association in a research competition to accelerate development of the tidal energy sector reports reNews. The scheme builds on a memorandum of understanding signed by the nations earlier this year and aims to develop enhanced sensing technologies for in-stream tidal energy applications that will lead to “better data and improved data analysis and collection methods”.
