URI researchers headed to Antarctica to study krill

A team of students and faculty from the University of Rhode Island is headed to the waters off Antarctica for a month to study the feeding behaviors of krill. The 17 researchers at URI will do their work on board the R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer, a 308-foot research ship. They will be joined by six researchers from the University of Massachusetts at Boston.
