Call for Papers

Oceanology International is the global forum where industry, academia and government share knowledge and connect with marine technology and ocean science, improving their strategies for measuring, exploiting, protecting and operating in the world's oceans. As the premier event of its type, Oceanology International attracts more engineers, technical specialists and senior industry figures than any other marine science and ocean technology event in the world.

 
The conference will comprise 6 one day sessions running throughout the event (two per day)

Abstracts are invited on the following topic areas:
 

Submittal Guidelines

 

1. Obtain necessary clearance to submit and present if selected from your management.
 
2. The paper proposal must be no more than 300 words in length and should include a description of the proposed paper, results/conclusions, and the technical category most applicable to your paper from the list of sessions.
 
3. The paper proposal must be received by 30th November 2011
 
 
5. Please note that, if accepted, your paper proposal may be published, as submitted, in conference information media, including on the event website.
 
6. Manuscripts and presentations: Authors whose paper proposals are accepted will be required to provide a short manuscript for inclusion in the conference proceedings along with a powerpoint presentation.  As a minimum 2 pages of A4 text must be submitted.  Authors who do not submit a manuscript by the due date will be withdrawn from the programme and will not be allowed to present. Manuscripts and slides will be required by Friday 6th January 2012 latest.
Full details will be supplied to authors after the selection process.
 
7. Paper publication. Papers featuring in the Oceanology International conference will submitted for peer-review and publication in (journals tbc)
 
A Word about Commercialism
Excessive use off of commercial trade/product names, company logos, or text that is commercial in tone in the paper title, text or slides will result in careful scrutiny by the programme committee in evaluating abstracts and the presence of excessive commercialism in the paper/presentation may result in it being withdrawn from the programme.
