The Oceanology International Education Programme is free for all attendees to the event. It represents an excellent opportunity via its extensive technical programme to showcase the latest developments and thinking from the marine science and ocean technology industry.

For 2012 the programme will feature seven one-day conferences on the key technology areas as well as the key industry sectors engaging with marine science and ocean technology:

Oceanology International is also hosting the Catch the Next Wave conference, on 12th March, London, Royal Institution of Great Britain.

The session commences with an overview of the market for AUVs and ROVs from the respected industry analyst John Westwood followed by a series of presentations on inspection, sonar and video developments from companies including Fugro, Subsea 7, Seebyte, Tritech and Kongsberg. Experience of the operation of AUVs in the High Arctic will be shared by James Ferguson of ISE. Finally, Saab Seaeye will present Sabertooth hybrid AUV/ROV technology.
