    Seminar Details
OGP have recently issued a new report No. 447 'HSE Guidelines for Metocean & Arctic Surveys', building on OGP Report No. 348, and aimed at including guidance for survey work in cold climates, as more and more survey activities are taking place in Arctic and sub-Arctic regions. Some of this survey work may require placing personnel on the sea ice, introducing new aspects to the HSE requirements. The talk will provide an overview of the major additions in the new report relevant to conducting on-ice surveys, supported by examples on how these new elements of the guideline have evolved based on experiences from conducting fieldwork in the Arctic.
