  • Application of New and Emerging Technologies for the improvement of Marine Site Investigations
I graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a BSc (Hons) in Geophysics in 2004, followed by a Masters degree in Structural Geology with Geophysics from the University of Leeds. After completing my studies, I was employed by Fugro Survey, where I started out working on North Sea site surveys, before working as part of a large multidisciplinary team conducting regional Geohazard and Geotechnical assessments of deepwater blocks offshore Angola and Egypt, for BP's field development activities. Following this I joined BP as a Geohazards Specialist in 2009, where I worked on assets in Angola, Azerbaijan, Egypt and Libya as well as taking an interest in developing the geophysical techniques applied in overburden and Geohazard assessment. In 2011 I moved to a well planning role and am currently focussed on the Central North Sea.
