    Rune Nilsen holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Over the last 7 years he has focused on cold regions, with experience from drilling operations, ice and metocean surveys and project engineering in the North Caspian Sea and Northwest Greenland. He is currently working for Shell Global Solution Netherlands as an Ice Engineer.
