Name
Geometrics P-Cable 3D Seismic Survey System
Description
High Resolution 3D surveying is now available for detailed mapping of targets in the shallow section. Geometrics' P-Cable is the ultimate tool for mapping features not possible with conventional 3D methods and at a fraction of the cost and manpower.

The revolutionary P-Cable provides unparalleled data quality and resolution far exceeding conventional 3D and comparable or better resolution than high-resolution 2D, but with the added benefit of 3D structural control. Consisting of 6 to 24 cables, it is designed to be operated from most industry and research vessels of 30m or more. As few as four dedicated crew members can deploy and recover the entire system in 1-3 hours, depending on array size.

Name
G-882 TVG Marine Magnetometer
Description
The G-882 Cesium Marine Magnetometer is a high speed high sensitivity compact system for professional surveys in either shallow or deep water. Designed for versatility and ease of use, the G-882 was conceived to meet the largest number of user needs.

The Geometrics Model G-882TVG Transverse Gradiometer system mates the well-proven high performance 882 cesium sensor into a transverse gradiometer array design that provides analytic signal maps and increased target characterization capability. This advanced integrated system provides a wide sensor separation for maximum target detection efficiency and survey cost effectiveness. The system comprises a transverse wing, two G-882 magnetometer fish with stabilizer weights and dihedral fins. Tow cables may be up to 150m in length with standard power supply or up to 700m with a high capacity voltage sense supply.

The system's high performance and multi-sensor array capability makes it excellent for the detection and delineation of cables, pipelines, environmental, archaeological or military UXO targets.

Description
G-882 Marine Magnetometer

The G-882 Cesium Marine Magnetometer is a high speed high sensitivity compact system for professional surveys in either shallow or deep water. Designed for versatility and ease of use, the G-882 was conceived to meet the largest number of user needs. The G-882 is particularly well suited for the detection and mapping of all sizes of ferrous objects (e.g. UXO survey, shipwrecks and downed aircraft, anchors, chains, cables, pipelines, ancient ship’s ballast stones and any other object with ferromagnetic content.) With fast sampling and high sensitivity, objects as small as a 5 inch screwdriver can be readily detected provided that the sensor is within a practical detection range.

Highlights:

• Cesium vapor technology provides largest detection range -- highest available sensitivity at 0.004 nT/vHz
• New streamlined design improves safety, less chance of snagging on rocks or debris
• Convertible nose or CG tow mechanism, lets you choose survey style for shallow or deep deployment
• Flash memory stores all parameters, eliminates need for on-board reprogramming
• Optional sonar altimeter provides integrated measurement of tow fish’s height above seabed for target analysis.
• A 2700m (9000') depth rating lets you use one unit for all surveys
• Easy portability and handling - no winch required for standard system - single man operation, 44 lbs with 200 ft cable (without weights), carrying handle
• Combine as many as 8 systems in an array for increased coverage – the internal CM-221 Mini-Counter allows multi-sensor data concatenation providing dense coverage for maximum detection of small targets.

Highlights:

• High Sensitivity - 0.004 nT/sq-rt-Hz RMS with dual CM-221 Larmor Counters
• Very Low Heading Error - ±0.25nT over 360° equatorial and polar spins
• Versatility - CM-221 counter includes 8 channel 12 bit A to D converters for real time internal diagnostics, digital data stream concatenation, and short, long or telemetry over coax options
• Reliability and Ruggedness – Never needs factory calibration or tuning. Designed for tough environmental conditions and high “G” loads
• Gradiometer arrays offering simultaneous operation of up to 8 separate sensors using the designed in multi-sensor data concatenation of the CM-221 internal counter

Geometrics offers complete turnkey systems including tow cables, gradiometer wing, digital data acquisition systems with real time anomaly detection, GPS navigation and post acquisition data processing software and training. Rental systems also available.
