Title Geo Focus Description In spring 2012 the ’Geo Focus’ will be available. This new 35m survey and ROV support vessel is built under Lloyds’ regulations and will get a so called Green passport. The Geo Focus is a hybrid vessel, which will use its diesel/electric generator more than 75% of the time to save a lot of fuel. The vessel speed is still 9 knots. Furthermore, the ‘Geo Focus’ is DP1-class and equipped with, amongst others, the newest multibeam echosounder Kongsberg EM2040 (hull-mounted transducers) and a retractable HiPap 501 for USBL positioning.
