British Geological Survey

BGS is delivering new marine environmental maps in collaboration with NOCS and partners. These will include detailed seabed geology (based on multibeam, sidescan, sampling), which will allow a step-change in understanding the seabed, the assessment of marine resources and the framework for marine planning. We will also profile ESO/IODP activities.
