Title Scour Monitor Description The Nortek Scour Monitor comprises four downward looking narrow acoustic beams, to provide a profile of the seabed close to the base of the wind turbine pile. Title Single Beam Profiler Description The Single Beam Profiler was specifically designed with underwater turbines in mind. It was a combined effort between the University of Edinburgh and Nortek to monitor fast flowing currents, in-front and behind a turbine, which involved the use of a range of specially developed single beam profilers. Each profiler is fitted with a pan and tilt, so that they can be independently focused wherever needed. They can even focus two or three beams at one point, thus allowing 3D measurements to be achieved.
